Clarinex (DESLORATADINE) is an antihistamine that provides relief of seasonal allergy symptoms and allergic nasal conditions (rhinitis) such as runny nose, sneezing, and watery/itching eyes. It may also be used to treat hives. Clarinex is called Aerius in Canada and is a non prescription item for both U.S. and Canadian residents.
Always ask a doctor before giving a cold or allergy medicine to a child. Death can occur from the misuse of cough and cold medicines in very young children.
